My Thoughts
If you happened to read the acknowledgements for 26 Below, you may know that Kimberley Woodhouse was sweet enough to let me read the first half of the book as she was writing… before leaving me hanging until release. Sweet or torture? Annnd once again she happened to have done it again to me for this one. You’d think I’d learn! LOL. Admittedly I have NOT been able to finish reading yet since I preordered the book and it arrived a little late. BUT it’s in my hands now so I can find out what happens. All I can tell you now is that I informed her that I liked this one even more than 26 Below. So yeah, the sweet torture has been just a bit tougher to handle this time around. 😝 If you haven’t gotten your hands on this one yet DO IT!

Cyberterrorism. There really wasn’t any other way to word it.
People had always hurt people. But now, in addition to guns and bombs, they could shut down
the power and communication systems,
or in this case, traffic lights.
Who would do something like that?
That’s what he didn’t want to wrap his brain around. The cyber part was easy, at least in his mind.
He had a master’s degree in computer science. Computers always made sense to him. Code.
Programming.
Hardware. Software.
But put an evil presence behind it, and all that technology could be used to harm innocent
citizens.
If someone was planning another cyberattack, his team and law enforcement needed to be ready.
Anchorage was much larger than Fairbanks. A lot more lives were on the line.

I have read many of Kimberley’s books and am a fan of her writing can’t wait to get my copy of 8 below. When I read 26 below I couldn’t put it down I know it will be the same with this one.

This book will require blocking out a chunk of time to read it in one sitting because if doesn’t sound like a story that can easily be put down.
