Wondering Wednesday is a new weekly post started by my wonderful blogging friend Jessica over at A Baker’s Perspective. The idea is to give readers a chance to get to know the blogger behind all of the book reviews and other blog posts. I think this is a great idea and I’m glad to be a part of the fun
Question: What book would you like to read again as if you’d never read it before?
Okay, this week I’m going to be that person and take the easy way out by saying I can’t settle on a single book but would say any book I’ve read that I consider 5 stars… particularly those with surprise endings. The only books that I wouldn’t want this to be true for are the ones I didn’t like to begin with. I like being surprised. I know people who will read the ending of a book before going to the beginning. I don’t understand them and frequently remind them of their need to change their ways. Maybe one day it’ll stick haha.
What about you? Any particular book(s) stand out to you for this one?
I think I would like to read The Price of Privilege series by Jessica Dotta. But it’s been so long since I read it, it would almost be like reading it for the first time. And Jocelyn Green told me about a sale at Tyndale so I got them in paperback for $5 each! Win-win!
If I had done this, my choice would have been A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki.
I am not big on rereading because there are so many great books out there that I need to get to. I honestly can not think of one right now.
