My Review:
Normally I’m not a fan of male narrators because of how annoying they sound when attempting female voices, but I was actually rather impressed with this narrator. He was able to draw you in emotionally without over-acting.
I really enjoyed this story. My only complaint is that I wish that I had started at the beginning of the series first because it was clear that I was missing backstory. I appreciated that the author included a bit of additional information to bring the reader up to speed, but I would have liked to have a better understanding of what was new and what was backstory.
At less than 4 hours long this is a quick listen but you still get a satisfying story. I was able to connect with the characters and feel a part of their journey. I’m curious to see what happens to them all in the next book. I’d recommend this to fans of historical romance especially novellas.

Sounds like a good book to listen to. I agree with you about male narrators, but I have also heard some that were pretty good.
