My Review:

A healthy dose of bookish delight. I don’t know why I didn’t pick this book up sooner! It oozed with bookish references from cover to cover in a way that felt natural and would warm the hearts of true book lovers. The bookstore was not specifically Christian, and so many of the books referenced were from a wide range of genres, but they were mostly well-known titles. The joy of the bookstore helped add light to the read as the characters dealt with some pretty tough stuff. The characters felt real and I was instantly sucked up into their world. The bookstore wasn’t just a building, but a staple in the community thanks to Madeline’s Aunt Maddie. Madeline had no idea what she was in for when she opened up that door to the shop following her aunt’s passing, but oh was it just what she needed! This was my first read by the author but I definitely intend to read more in the future. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend to bookish friends who love all things bookish.
