Thanksgiving is a common time for people to sit and think about all of the things they are thankful for. When thinking in terms of books, I have to share that I am thankful that I live in a country where I can read the Bible and other books with a basis of Christianity freely without fear of persecution. There are several countries in the world where it is illegal to even own a Bible. I pray for those who are in the underground evangelizing to the lost in hostile territories. It’s amazing how many languages the Bible has been translated into and how it is able to reach people all over the world no matter their language or location!

  1. I am also thankful for the freedom of religion. We did a small group study about the book, “I am N,” which deals with the persecution some Christians face. It was eye opening.

    Happy Thanksgiving!
