To be honest I debated on participating in this challenge simply because I’ve participated in them the last 2 months and didn’t want to over-post, however my time to read will be greatly decreased this month for reviewing due to returning to the night-shift and Christmas coming up. But I do really enjoy participating in these challenges and seeing the daily list has already sparked my mind to think about books to share, so I’ve decided to give it a go.

Goals

Today’s challenge has me looking back to my goals from last month while participating in the #TFBRC challenge. Unfortunately I didn’t quite make my goals, INCLUDING my most-anticipated read! *insert shocked face* But I still read 12 books, so I can’t exactly complain either. I was able to read all of the books I had set for tours last month, but not anything extra. This month I hope to work on getting more ahead on my scheduled reviews so that I can dig into my side TBR a little more.

Swimming in the Deep EndMind Games (Kaely Quinn Profiler, #1)

Reclaiming Sanity: Hope and Healing for Trauma, Stress, and Overwhelming Life EventsFlights of Fancy (American Heiresses, #1)My Heart Belongs in the Blue Ridge: Laurel's DreamThe Lost Art of Relationship: A Journey to Find the Lost Commandment

Castle on the Rise (Lost Castle #2)The Alamo Bride (Daughters of the Mayflower #7)The Forgiving Jar (The Prayer Jars #2)

I know it’s going to be a busy month, but I really hope I can get to all of these this month!

  1. I just sat and put my December TBR together today. My goal is six books- some for reviews, some for work, and some for fun. Good luck with your December reading!

What do you do that you work night shift? I good friend of mine is a nurse and frequently works nights. I don’t think I could do it! I’m hoping to finish reading three books I have for review and two Christmas books this month. I think I’m doing well if I read a book each week!

    • Just data processing. So I get to listen to audiobooks which is helpful but my library has limited CF so I have to branch out a bit too. Suspense keeps me awake and typing faster but can often be hard to find that’s clean. Depending on the night I can listen to a book or more in one shift though 🙂

I don’t think there’s any job that’s a “just”! All of them are important! How cool that you can listen to audio books while you work. I struggle to type a blog post if the tv is on in the background. I can tune out anything for reading though. 😃
