My Review
Unlike the journaling Bible itself, the illustrations added to the Beautiful Word Journal are already in full color so this is not a coloring journal. Instead what you get is significantly more space for your journaling and notetaking. with lined full page spreads instead of just the margins. The note pages are interwoven alongside the full text of the book of the Bible for study (in this case Mark). It has a very beautiful layout, and the font is comfortable size for reading. I only wish that the book laid flat easier which would make it easier to use. I like that it’s a good companion for either a church or personal Bible study and can make it much easier to look back on your notes in the future. I quite love this new addition to my Bible study resources.

I just bought this book too. I like it, except for how it lays. You pretty much have to break the spine to get it to lay flat and be usable. So, I totally agree with your assessment. 😀
