Happy Monday! The purpose of memorable Monday is to showcase a book that you’ve read in the past and share how/why it has stuck with you.
This week I’m featuring:

Yes, this week I’m sharing a nonfiction read. I can’t tell you how many posts I’ve seen on social media specifically this week that referred to different lies that women believe about themselves and others. I know that I too am a work in progress when it comes to fighting these lies. I remember reading this book several years ago (it’s still on my shelf), and it’s one that I know I should reread myself. If you haven’t read it yet I highly recommend it.
About the Book:
The lies Christian women believe are at the root of their struggles. In Lies Women Believe, Nancy Leigh DeMoss exposes areas of deception common to many Christian women — lies about God, sin, priorities, marriage and family, emotions, and more. She deals honestly with women’s delusions and illusions and then gently leads them to the truth of God’s word that leads to true freedom.
About the Author:
Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth also known as Nancy Leigh DeMoss is the host and teacher for Revive Our Hearts and Seeking Him, two nationally-syndicated programs heard each weekday on over 1,000 radio stations. She is a mentor and spiritual mother to thousands of women and a leader of the True Woman movement.
Sounds like a good book. A book that’s got some real substance to it! 😀
