This is one that I can’t share why it’s so memorable without sharing any spoilers, so I’ll just share that this one was high on suspense with a major punch in the gut. It’s the fourth (and final) book in the Restoration series by Terri Blackstock. The series itself is one of my favorites of all time particularly because of the setting. What would you do if the world suddenly lost all use of electricity and other modern machines? I should note that this isn’t a series that I would recommend reading out of order but I do highly recommend it 🙂

My husband has read a bunch of Blackstock’s novels. I just never have gotten into them. It’s not a go-to genre for me.
I get that and totally understand. It’s a genre I enjoy but I also have to be careful with so I get it. Nightmares are a real struggle lol
