Happy Monday! The purpose of memorable Monday is to showcase a book that you’ve read in the past and share how/why it has stuck with you.
This week I’m featuring:
Amazon | Goodreads
In looking back at some of my past posts, even though I’ve featured this book several times, it doesn’t look like I’ve featured it for Memorable Monday yet. So allow me to fix that and say with as much enthusiasm as is physically possible that this book is an absolute MUST-READ!! Randy Alcorn is one of those authors that you don’t merely read what he writes, but you experience it. This book challenged and encouraged my faith in ways no other Christian Fiction book has. While Christianity may be protested in America today, we don’t have to live in fear for our lives if we say the name of Jesus in public. Safely Home is a glimpse at what life is like for Christians on the other side of the globe, and how even in the face of persecution the Word of God cannot be silenced. If you haven’t read this book yet you need to remedy that immediately. You won’t regret it!!
About the Book:
2002 Gold Medallion Award winner! Fans of Randy Alcorn will applaud this soul-stirring story of two college friends who reconnect after twenty years. One is living life apart from God in comfortable corporate America while the other is living for Christ under intense persecution in China. This stunning page-turner will convict the hearts of readers to live in the light of eternity. Royalties from sales of this book will be donated to support the persecuted Church.
About the Author:
Sounds like an intense book! I’ll have to check it out. 😀
