I have a very spoken rule that I refuse to watch the movie until I’ve read the book. Having said, that, this is one I failed on. I don’t know if I knew that initially though. It was one of my favorite movies while I was in high school though, so I knew I couldn’t go the rest of my life without reading the book as well. If you haven’t read (or watched) this one, I highly recommend it.

About the Author:
Billie Letts (born in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an American author. Earlier she worked as a professor at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She was married to Dennis Letts until his death in 2008, and is the mother of playwright and actor Tracy Letts and jazz musician and composer Shawn Letts.
