Lilac Girls is a masterfully written narrative based on actual historical figures and events. Although I had no complaint for the contemporary piece, it was the historical timeline that had me helplessly hooked. The characters are still heavily on my mind whenever I think about WWII and Holocaust Fiction. If you haven’t read it yet it’s one that I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!

About the Author:
Martha grew up in Massachusetts and now splits her time between Connecticut, New York City and Martha’s Vineyard. She worked as an advertising copywriter for many years and raised three splendid children, while researching and writing Lilac Girls, her first novel. I haven’t read Lilac Girls yet, however, I have it. I found it in a used book sale. I plan to read it sometime this summer. 🙂
