Baker Book House|Amazon|ChristianBookMaggie inherited a gift from her time-crossing parents that allows her to live three separate lives in 1861, 1941, and 2001. Each night, she goes to sleep in one time period and wakes up in another. Until she turns twenty-one, when she will have to forfeit two of those lives--and everyone she knows in them--forever.
In 1861, Maggie is the daughter of a senator at the outbreak of the Civil War, navigating a capital full of Southern spies and wounded soldiers. In 1941, she is a navy nurse, grappling with her knowledge of the future when she joins a hospital ship going to Pearl Harbor. And in 2001, she's a brilliant young medical student, fulfilling her dream of becoming a surgeon.
While Maggie has sworn off romance until she makes her final choice, an intriguing man tugs at her heart in each era, only complicating the impossible decision she must make, which looms ever closer. With so much on the line, how can Maggie choose just one life to keep and the rest to lose?

My Review:
Oh my WOW do I absolutely LOVE this series! Once again, I couldn’t put this read down and I’m already impatiently waiting for the next one to release. Despite the fantastical concept of time travel that exists in this series, the faith content is incredibly deep and thought-provoking, a lifeblood to the journey that feels entirely organic.
One thing I really liked about this installment in particular, was seeing the difference not only physically but socially with the White House. In today’s world I can’t imagine someone walking up to the front door and just stepping inside. But that’s the world we live in today. I found seeing how the security and overall management of the building completely changed throughout Maggie’s timelines really intriguing and I appreciated knowing that these differences were well researched.
I can’t go too much into this part without spoiling, but the selection of the three timelines was masterful and imperative for the plot. Fantastically done.
With no surprise, I’m left in a book fog and I WANT MORE! I’ll just have to sit and wait impatiently for book three now. LOVE this series!!

Great review! I really loved this story and am so excited for book 3. I even got my sister to read the series. She devoured them in two days, then reread them. 😀
