Happy Thursday! I am blessed to be a part of a group of bloggers who feel led to share a bit of encouragement each week from the Bible. We recognize our daily need for Christ and we aim to share that with our readers. Plus, when Thursday comes around, we can all use a little encouragement right? I hope that this post blesses you and that you find comfort, strength, and peace in the Lord today ❤
Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the Lord God is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.Isaiah 12:2 (ESV)
Where does your trust lie? Where do you find your strength? Where do you look when you are afraid? Salvation through Christ is not just a way for us to enter heaven when we die, but a way for us to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father. Our God, who created the heavens and the earth and everything in-between, loves us and wants an intimate relationship with us. We aren’t meant to be able to do life alone (just try breathing without the oxygen God gives us)! As someone who has been a believer for many years, I can’t even fathom walking this earth without faith in God. It’s not to say I haven’t had incredibly tough seasons in life, but the comfort that I have knowing that my strength and hope is in the Lord gives me a peace I cannot describe. Coming into a right relationship with your Heavenly Father is the single most important decision you will ever make in your life. There is nothing that can even come close to compare. Through Jesus, our debt (that we could not pay on our own) has been paid and through him we find salvation. Hallelujah!
Now, it’s your turn!

I love this post, Becca. It is extremely encouraging to me today. ❤
I’m happy to hear that! <3
A beautiful reminder to lay our burdens down and rest in the arms of God! Too often I pick-up those burdens and I forget that I’m not supposed to. Thank you for sharing this today! <3
