His Encouragement #45

Happy Thursday! I am blessed to be a part of a group of bloggers who feel led to share a bit of encouragement each week from the Bible. We recognize our daily need for Christ and we aim to share that with our readers. Plus, when Thursday comes around, we can all use a little encouragement right? I hope that this post blesses you and that you find comfort, strength, and peace in the Lord today ❤

I know that I’ve shared it in the recent past and claimed it as my verse for the year, but it’s on my heart today to share Psalm 91:4 which says:

He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

Ever have a week where you simply have a strong hunger for closeness with the Lord and to feel His comfort and peace over you? This is me this week. Some of it is situational and some of it is simply life. This is one of those verses that speaks directly to my heart and I find comfort in.

Regardless of where you are at this week I encourage you to seek refuge in the Lord. I pray you find comfort in His embrace. It’s easy to get wrapped up and overwhelmed with the things in this life but our Heavenly Father loves us and is an ever present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
