MY REVIEW

This was a sweet romance and a fairly quick read. The story had a great premise and I could tell the author put a lot of attention into the detail of their writing. Two things stuck out to me though that really hindered my ability to get into the story. I’m quite sure it was in hopes of creating likable characters, but their flaws (specifically Caleb) lacked any real depth when their thoughts always seemed to be pure and any bad choices weren’t really choices at all. The other piece was the dialogue. It was too wordy and proper for natural conversations. It was still an enjoyable read though, and I did like the characters. I’d recommend it to those who enjoy lighter reads.
