Happy Friday!
The book I’m featuring this week is:
Amazon | Goodreads
If mortification could kill, I’d be six feet under.
Doesn’t every girl love a good princess story? I started reading this one yesterday and I’m about 2/3 through it right now. I knew that the moment I read that first line though that it was going to be my next FLF share. Catching isn’t it?? My full review won’t be shared until Dec 4 as part of a review tour but I can share that from what I’ve read so far it’s one I easily recommend 🙂
About the Book:
Brought to the palace as a newborn, the royal life bestowed upon Mackenna Sparrow was never meant to last forever. With Princess Alina engaged to be married, Mackenna’s presence as companion is no longer required and, like it or not, she must return to the birthright which should have been hers – that of a commoner.
But not everyone at the palace wants her gone. When the truths she’s based her life on start crumbling as fast as her future, will she find the courage to trust – both herself and the prince she’s fallen in love with?
About the Author:
Aussie author, Hannah Currie, loves God, family, people (in small numbers, let’s not go crazy here!) and writing. A book nerd from birth, she knows firsthand the difference a good book can make in a person’s life. Even, and especially, fiction. Her dream as a writer is to make people laugh, cry and maybe even swoon a little but mostly to remind them that no matter how dark life may get at times, because of God, there is always hope.
She and her husband live with their three adorable kids in sunny Queensland, where it really is beautiful one day and perfect the next. Except, maybe, during heatwaves. They’re not so fun.
Now it’s your turn!

Happy Friday!
Today on my blog I’m sharing the first line from Diamond in the Rough by Jen Turano:https://christianfictiongirl.blog/2019/11/14/first-line-friday-110/. It’s SO good. I’m currently on chapter 17, so I’ll share the first line from there.
“Can’t thank you enough, Reginald, for insisting on accompanying Poppy and me as we search for that peddler,” Murray said from the far side of the sleigh, staunchly ignoring the frown Poppy, who was squished in between Reginald and Murray, was sending him.
Hope you have a great weekend filled with awesome reading time. 🙂❤📖
Oh I just shared that one last week! I haven’t read it yet though… It was on Kim’s “next to read” pile so I wasn’t allowed to read it yet 😂😂 Definitely one I’m planning on reading though!
I think you will enjoy it. It is really so funny!
Why did I let Henry con me into coming here?
