Y’all, I can’t even tell you how excited I am to read this book! I am hoping to goodness that I can get caught up on my urgent TBR’s so that I can dig into it! I knew that there was no way that I was going to go to FRS this year without a copy of it coming home with me 🙂 Amanda Barratt happened to be one of the author’s attending the event, so not only was I able to get my book signed, but I was able to meet her in person and chat books and life <3
When you have a whole herd of book nerds released into a Christian bookstore (WITH CARTS!!), you can imagine the chaos that ensued. No worries though, while we emptied the shelves there were some wonderful employees filling them back up behind us! 😉 Just about everyone who didn’t already own this one went home with a copy 🙂

About the Author:
ECPA best-selling author Amanda Barratt fell in love with writing in grade school when she wrote her first story—a spinoff of Jane Eyre. Now, Amanda writes romantic, historical novels and novellas, penning stories of beauty and brokenness set against the backdrop of bygone eras not so very different from our own. Her novel My Dearest Dietrich: A Novel of Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Lost Love, releases from Kregel Publications in June 2019.
