Have you ever been so excited for a book to release that you’re willing to have it shipped internationally when it’s not released in your own country?? That’s this one right here for me. The Slated series is hands down my favorite YA dystopian and so when I discovered the author was coming out with a prequel I jumped with excitement… only to discover it was only releasing in the UK 🙁 But as luck would have it, I was still able to buy it on Amazon and have it shipped to me. It even made me feel special to receive an email stating that I had a package coming from “The Royal Mail” (yes, I know that’s the standard name for their mail but it’s still cool haha). It just arrived yesterday so I will definitely be digging into this soon!

About the Author:
Teri has lived in France, Canada, Australia and England at more addresses than she can count, acquiring three degrees, a selection of passports and a silly name along the way. Past careers have included scientist, lawyer, optometrist, and, in England, various jobs in schools, libraries and an audiobook charity. The footpaths and canal ways of the Buckinghamshire Chilterns where she now lives inspired much of the setting of Slated. She hates broccoli, likes cats, and has finally worked out what she wants to do when she grows up.
