Happy Friday!
This week is a special week to feature books about Thanksgiving. I actually struggled a bit trying to come up with a related book since I really don’t read holiday books. There are many that pass through the holidays as part of their story, but I don’t read many centered around them. Having said that, my choice for this week isn’t specifically about thanksgiving either, but it’s about the journey of the pilgrims who were the first to celebrate Thanksgiving, so I think that’s close enough 😉

Yes it is! The stories can all be read as stand-alones because they are individual stories with people simply related to those from the beginning. I recommend reading the others too! 🙂

I had never been to an Englisch funeral before today. I’ve only been to one funeral , when Uncle John died last year. But I’m only ten so maybe that’s why. This funeral was different from Uncle John’s. There were a lot of flowers inside the church and people singing.
