First of all, I have to say how thankful and blessed I am for all of the help and advice I’ve received since I started this blog in February of this year! I have to give a special shout-out to Nicole from The Christian Fiction Girl blog who has been incredibly helpful and supportive in figuring all of this out. Although not able to give any real help in the “technical” world, my husband Nate has been a great support as well as he has encouraged me as I’ve grown and learned how this all works 🙂
Initially I planned on sharing my top ten books so far, but I quickly discovered that I can’t put them in a specific order. I also plan on switching my review posts to quarterly updates in the future since I’ve already plowed through almost 70 books this year and it’s difficult to narrow down my favorites.
When trying to come up with my absolute favorite so far this year, I’ve had two books in mind that I can’t bring myself to choose between so I’ll highlight both:

Some other favorites this year so far are (Sorry, I wasn’t able to figure out how to get them all to link to their reviews but you can look them up on the archives or search box):
Goodreads Challenge update:Â My goal this year was to read 75 books, and I think it’s safe to say I’ll make it since I’m already at 68! Have you created your 2018 Goodreads challenge yet? How are you doing on making your goal?
Do you share any of my favorites so far this year? Do you have some different ones of your own you’d like to share?
Once again I want to send out a special thank you to all of my followers and supporters as I continue to learn how to navigate the blogger world. Your views, comments, and words of encouragement have been an amazing blessing to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Love this list! I see many of my favorites on there as well. I would add “No One Ever Asked” by Katie Ganshert, “The Lacemaker” by Laura Frantz, “Where the Fire Falls” by Karen Barnett, “The Innkeeper’s Daughter” by Michelle Griep, and Roseanna White’s ” A Song Unheard” . . .it’s been a year of great books and we are only half-way through it!
I haven’t read them yet but those are all on my TBR too! So many books so little time lol. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Wow!! I just found a whole bunch I want to read! You’ve had a great six months of reading!! Great job Becca!!😊
Yay! Yes, I’ve read some pretty awesome stuff so far this year 🙂 Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
