There’s no question that coloring has exploded in popularity for adults in recent years with the introduction of adult coloring books. It’s quite easy to see why. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and interestingly fulfilling. So with that in mind, it makes sense to add encouraging thoughts to the pages to set our mind on things above while doing something both fun and soothing.
I really like the variety in this book as far as the page layouts go. The book opens from top-to-bottom instead of side-to-side like a conventional book. Some pages have the scriptures built directly into the illustration while others have a small box that shares more of a mini-devotional with no words to color in. The devotionals are relevant to current issues and anxieties in life and serve to refocus our minds where they should be fixed. While the content is more relevant to adults, there’s no reason kids couldn’t enjoy coloring in the pages as well.
This is a book I would easily recommend. It’s fun, entertaining, soothing, and peaceful. We live in a busy world that often has our minds running anxiously. This is a great little tool to quiet our minds and calm our anxieties while setting our thoughts on things above. There’s plenty of content to enjoy in this book that will keep you occupied for a while. I definitely consider this a little gem to own.
