My Review

ACTs420NOW was a great 8-week study that takes the reader on a path to studying scripture in a way that challenges them to dig deeper in a personalizing way. It doesn’t allow the reader to sit comfortably in their current spiritual walk but makes them think outside of their own experience and intentionally lights a fire towards spiritual growth.

Each week is broken up to 5 days. The first 3 days are considered the “traditional Bible study method.” Day 4 looks back into history between Martin Luther and William Tyndale. Day 5 looks specifically at the heritage of The USA. I thought this was a unique approach and I found it intriguing and helpful to take a look at history and how we can learn from it. The Bible is not just a book of antiquity but an ever-relevant guide to life with lessons for every generation.

Overall I found this an interesting read and is one that I recommend for those who want to dig deeper and be challenged in their spiritual walk.

About the Author

Marta E. Greenman was called out of corporate America in 1988, then joined a church-planting organization and traveled the world in evangelism and discipleship campaigns. In 2002, she and her husband, Marshall, moved to Romania to help church plant and work with street children. In 2011, Marta founded Words of Grace & Truth Ministries, which is dedicated to teaching God’s Word to the nations, and teaching others to do the same. She is the author of two other Bible studies, Bound to be Free, and Leaders, Nations, and God, teaches and speaks nationally and internationally, and makes her home with her husband in Plano, TX.
