Wondering Wednesday: If you could have lunch with anyone from history, who would it be and why?

wondering-wednesdayWondering Wednesday is a new weekly post started by my wonderful blogging friend Jessica over at A Baker’s Perspective. The idea is to give readers a chance to get to know the blogger behind all of the book reviews and other blog posts. I think this is a great idea and I’m glad to be a part of the fun 🙂

Question: If you could have lunch with anyone from history, who would it be and why?

The person I’m going to go with is Queen Esther. We know some of the details of her life from what we read in the Bible, but there’s only so much you can glean from the few chapters she’s present in. Her story has been romanticized and reimagined multiple times both in novels and films, but the real details remain a mystery.

What about you? Who would you like to have lunch with from history?
