Wondering Wednesday is a new weekly post started by my wonderful blogging friend Jessica over at A Baker’s Perspective. The idea is to give readers a chance to get to know the blogger behind all of the book reviews and other blog posts. I think this is a great idea and I’m glad to be a part of the fun 🙂
Question: What is your favorite summer activity?

This is an easy one for me! I absolutely LOVE kayaking. I’ve had my own kayak for about 3 years now and love going whenever I have the chance. The picture above was taken just last weekend when I went out with some friends to a place that was new to me. We already have plans to go back again 🙂
Have you ever been kayaking before? What’s YOUR favorite summer activity?

I am an avid reader and love to share with others about any of my favorite new finds. I have been blogging since February 2018 and I absolutely love it. My favorite genre is historical fiction, however I've also recently fallen into love with the dual-timelines. I primarily read Christian Fiction and nonfiction. I love meeting and getting to know other readers and gushing over our never-ending, ever-growing TBR piles. The world is a better place because of books and bookish friends!

Kayaking! Fun! 🙂 I’ve never been kayaking but I would love to give it a try. I like to hike in the summer, especially in the mountains.

I like hiking too but haven’t done it in the mountains yet. Hopefully someday!

Normally, it would be travelling to new places and seeing new sights. This year it’s taking photos of our daily critter visitors.

How fun! I’ve never been kayaking before. It’s probably because I’m terrified of water. 🤷♀️

I didn’t know this about you! I would take you out if you came to visit… where I went the last two weeks the water was really shallow… like to the point of rubbing on the bottom in a few parts. It’s lots of fun!

Yeah, I’m not a good enough swimmer to get myself out of trouble situations. I love spas and pools cause I know my limitations, but real water scares me. Riptides and rapids and currents … too scary! But I’d trust you not to steer me wrong! Lol!
