About the Novella:

1883 Texas
Headstrong, bubbly, accident-prone Abigail Monroe is on a quest for adventure away from society’s expectations. But her pursuits are unexpectedly thwarted when she is arrested by a handsome Texas Ranger.

My review:

MissTaken Identity was a fun and humorous novella about a woman who took the wrong train and ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Disguised as a man and refusing to reveal her true identity, Abigail hopes the issue resolves itself so she can continue on her way. Although it doesn’t take long for Ranger Jim to discover her womanhood, he doesn’t “out” her while trying to get to the bottom of her story. The witty humor and endless mishaps kept me fully engaged and turning the pages.  The characters were well developed and their personalities fit perfectly for their roles. Despite only being novella length I still felt like I was getting a full story and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Rating: 5-Stars-300x57

Did you know that last month I was blessed to get to visit Kimberley Woodhouse for a few weeks and we happened to go live on Facebook for my online book club to talk about it? It’s safe to say we had quite a bit of fun. You can still see the video by clicking HERE.

  1. I have read several novella collections, and like them, but I haven’t read a lot. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity and good luck everyone.

  2. I love novella collections because I get to enjoy several authors’s work in one volume, and sometimes the shorter story makes it easier to stop reading to do other things that should be done before beginning the next novella.
